My name is Chris Atkins, I’m a Property Consultant at The Property Buying Company, which essentially means that I’m here to help you find a solution for any property sale needs that you may have.

I’ve got a lot of experience in the property industry and have always had a keen interest in keeping up with the market and trends for as long as I can remember, outside of that, I’m really into my music and football.

Get to know Chris
What experience do you have in property?

I actually started in property around 10 years ago! My first step into the industry was as a lettings negotiator and over the years I’ve worked myself up to more senior sales roles, before then stepping into my role with The Property Buying Company.

I’m one of the newer members of the team here, but I’ve absolutely loved every minute so far – it’s been great to work in a team that all have a great knowledge of property & more importantly, being able to help customers.

What’s your role at The Property Buying Company?

I’m currently a Property Consultant, which means I’m typically your first point of contact if you enquire to The Property Buying Company. My job is to use all my knowledge and experience in the property industry, whilst listening to your specific situation, to help provide you with the sale option that best suits you, as we have several services.

I’m also here to help just with general property queries or advice, I like to think I’m a pretty friendly person, so feel free to ask me anything and I’ll always try help!

Why should customers want to deal with you (what makes you special)?

I’d like to think I am open and honest with all my clients and that I will always be available to listen to any questions or concerns you may have. I will always offer my clients the best options for them.

As an additional benefit, my experience within the industry means I can offer advice and assistance in any situation, property-related, of course.

What’s your proudest moment in the job?

It’s hard to pinpoint a specific moment as there are so many, on a daily basis I’m able to help people to move forward with their purchases and sales. It often allows us to make their dream home move become a reality so it’s really the day to day satisfaction that I get and love about this job.

What’s been your most challenging moment?

Obviously, Covid-19 has been a massive challenge, and not just for me but for everyone. In the property industry we where kind of lucky as it stayed active and actually became rather buoyant after lockdown, but the working from home, alone, was really challenging.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

When I’m not at work, most of my time is taken up by either music or sport. I love getting myself to the Theatre of Dreams to watch football matches & going to music gigs and other live events – well Covid permitting!
