Proactiveness
A. Volunteering and Charities
Our company will encourage all its employees to volunteer, where they can volunteer through programs organised internally or externally and where possible we will offer them our full support. On an annual basis we will set aside a budget to sponsor volunteering events. In doing so, we aim to promote the wellbeing of our staff and others to use our position to assist our wider community.
B. Protecting the environment
Apart from legal obligations, we proactively protect the environment, by:
Recycling – We recycle printer cartridges, paper, plastic. Our printers are set to ensure all printing is produced double sided to reduce paper waste.
Conserving energy – Our lights are on sensors which ensures lighting is switched off when not in use
Organising environmental exercises – Working locally and nationally on initiatives to reduce our carbon emission footprint whilst also looking to save energy
Using environmentally friendly technologies – Use of video conferencing facilities rather than travel to save polluting the environment.
Creating partnerships with consumers and vendors – by researching initiatives that will result in their contribution to having a positive impact on delaying climate change.
C. Well-being and commitment to Mental Health at Work
We take the health and wellbeing of all our employees incredibly seriously. We have very strong views on creating an open culture which is positive and promotes good mental and physical health. This is demonstrated by having our free, onsite fully operational gym, provision of yoga classes available to all staff and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
D. Supporting the community
We look to initiate and support community investment and educational programs by operating a work placement scheme that enables students from any walk of life to apply. We are looking to provide support to non-profit organisations to promote cultural and economic development of global and local communities.
